‘Asia’s Most Eminent Chancellor Award-2015’ bagged by Dr Madhukar Angur
Hon’ble Chancellor of Alliance University, Dr Madhukar Angur has been conferred with Asia’s Most Eminent Chancellor Award-2015’ at the celebration of International Human Rights Day 2015. He has been nominated by the National Award Selection Committee for his outstanding contribution for peace, harmony, protecting and promoting human rights and service to humanity. The International Human Rights Awards ‘5th Bhartiya Manava Adhikar Samman 2015’ was aimed at promoting peace, harmony, protecting human rights, along with National Council of News and Broadcasting (NCNB), Asian Human Rights Council (AHRC), Amnesty Worldwide (aw), Universal Mission For Peace and Harmony (UMPH) and International Institute of Human Rights Studies (IIHRS). The event was held on 10th December 2015 at India Islamic Centre Auditorium, New delhi. It was graced by the presence of eminent personalities from different sectors like Governors from various states, Human Rights Commission, Social activists, Religious leaders, Social NGOs, Foreign Diplomats, United Nation, Ministers, member of Parliament, IAS, IPS, Judiciary, Advocates, Sports, Film Industry, RWA, Journalists, bureaucrats, Doctors, Engineers, Chartered Accountants, and more than 150 law colleges, Universities, School etc. from all over India, and globally.
It is a great moment of pride for Alliance University. Dr. Angur’s professional excellence and expertise has been acknowledged in the form of various awards and achievements. He has been awarded with the prestigious ‘Education Entrepreneur of the Year 2015’ award by ASSOCHAM, India and the ‘Aryabhatta Award for Educational Excellence in 2014. In the year 1997, he was recognized as a Distinguished Michigan Professor by the Michigan Association of University Governing Boards. Dr. Angur has been nominated twice for the Carnegie Foundation Professor of the Year Award and listed in Who’s Who among Americas Teachers.
