Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University organizes valedictory function
Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University New Law College, Pune recently organized its valedictory function to bid farewell to its students. The event was graced by several prominent judges of high courts and top functionaries of the university. Justice Navin Sinha, Chief Justice of the Chhattisgarh High Court addressed the gathering and enlightened them with his kind words. He said that, “To become a good lawyer, one should become a good human being first. Law students should set their own standards, values, morals, goals and ideals.” He expressed his views eloquently and evoked a great response from the audience. . Bharati Vidyapeeth University also organized Justice PN Bhagwati 6th International Moot Court Competition on Human Rights. The team from National Law Institute University, Bhopal emerged as the winner of the event.
He further added that, “Success comes with a price and it is not always easy to become successful in life. You need to sincerely work hard and have the dedication to become a successful lawyer.”Focusing on the importance of maintaining good reputation, Mr. Sinha said that, “Reputation is very difficult to acquire but easy to lose. To become a good lawyer you should spend some of the time in district courts also. Judges have now given godly duties towards the common people. A good lawyer should be ready to face every challenge boldly.” He concluded his speech saying, “As per the statement of Chief Justice of India ‘legal profession is now overcrowded’ but as per my opinion there is always room at the top”
