The Chairman of Nims University, Prof. (Dr.) Balbir Singh Tomar supported the ‘Young Artist of Ravindra Rangmanch Theatre’ and provided them the opportunity to showcase their talent at Nims University. The play titled Khabsurat Bahu was performed at Nims auditorium. It was based on the lifestyle of villages and their beliefs. It was a great initiative by Nims University to make the youth aware about the culture and traditions of the country.

Chairman of Nims Prof. Tomar said that, “By promoting theaters, we can preserve and disseminate our culture. It is important to make the youth aware about the culture and traditions of vibrant India. Such plays focus on the values and virtues which should be cultivated by everyone. Along with entertainment, it was a great learning experience for all. All the artists performed extremely well. Their hard work and efforts are evident from their outstanding performances. I congratulate them for their work and wish them all the best for their future endeavors.”

Cultural traditions hold a mirror to the values and beliefs of a community. They ensure that these values and beliefs are transmitted from one generation to the other. Promoting culture and tradition is important for preserving the beliefs of our ancestors and maintaining the connection with them.”
