Naturopath Urvashi Gandhi enlightens people about Ayurveda
Naturopathy expert Dr. Urvashi Gandhi recently conducted a lecture demonstration enlightening people about the benefits of Ayurveda. Her session was motivated by her aim to make people’s lives better by bringing them closer to nature. She conducted a session which saw participation from many enthusiasts who were keen on learning ayurvedic ways for a healthy lifestyle.
During her visit, Dr. Gandhi took a two-hour session in which she explained about the three doshas of Ayurveda which are the three basic elements of this science. These are Vatta dosha, Pitta Dosha and Kapha Dosha and their tripartite relationship was further elaborated by Dr. Urvashi Gandhi. She explained how an imbalance between these is responsible for various diseases in one’s body. Her session followed a vote of thanks from the people who expressed their gratitude for Ms. Gandhi’s visit and imparting knowledge to them.
Dr. Gandhi is a frequent visitor at various NGOs and conducts free workshops for people of all age groups and background to pass on the knowledge of Ayurveda. She strongly believes in the benefits which one experiences if he dictates his life according to ayurvedic norms.
Dr. Urvashi Gandhi holds a doctorate in Alternative Medicines (HMD). Having worked at the Naturopathy Hospital in Mumbai, she aims at enlightening people about mind-body connection and benefits of a spiritual growth. She has been the recipient of The National Merit Scholarship from Government of India. Granddaughter of the great Ayurvedacharya and author Dr. Harkishandas Gandhi, she inherits from him the knowledge of Natural Healing Techniques which help in leading a holistic and balanced lifestyle.
