“Envi and Nizam by Gitanjali in association with Gr8, presents BETI”
The 3rd edition of IIJW “Envi and Nizam by Gitanjali in association with Gr8, presents BETI”, was a show with a heart, that opened with various film and TV actors walking on the ramp along with renowned corporate personalities for the cause BETI, which is a joint initiative of Gitanjali Group and Gr8. It is also supported by United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). BETI creates awareness about scrounges like female foeticide and other atrocities that they face in their daily lives that enforce them to be a part of underprivileged and vulnerable section of society.
This year BETI focused upon supporting the acid victim Sonali Mukherjee, by creating support for her treatment. The celebrities graced the stage in their exquisite designer outfits prepared by none other than Vikram Phadnis and Madhurima Nigam along with dazzling jewellery by Nizam & Envi of Gitanjali & Gemfields. Vivek Oberoi, Tushar Kapoor, Raima Sen and Zayed Khan stole the limelight along with various Television stars.
CMD of Gitanjali Group, Mr. Mehul Choksi acknowledges Gitanjali Group as a socially concerned organization as the Group has taken numerous initiatives towards making this society a better place to live. Gitanjali is said to identify and support the causes in need and will organize such event to raise funds for the so called vulnerable and underprivileged section of society.
