Headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, IPLOCA’s inception can be traced back to 1966 when the then leaders of the international pipeline construction industry established the International Pipe Line Contractors Association (IPLCA) as the international division of the Pipe Line Contractors Association (PLCA) of the United States.

I am enthusiastic and hope to add value to the workings of IPLOCA which has been actively engaging the industry through various forums and collaborating to brave the challenges the industry has been facing including geopolitical issues, inhospitable terrain and the lack of qualified manpower.”

History repeats itself in this case as Atul took over the reins of the company from his father, SNP Punj, who was the President of IPLOCA in 1997.

Atul, with his vision and foresight led Punj Lloyd to explore global markets and diversify its portfolio to include energy, infrastructure and defence. Globally, Punj Lloyd is synonymous with pipelines as the company has earned the reputation of ‘all terrain specialists’ with its extensive overseas experience.
