LNCT celebrated Yoga Day with joy, Indian culture
LNCT (Lakshmi Narain College of Technology and Science), Bhopal celebrated Yoga Day in its campus in line with the International Yoga Day. The event was organized in order to promote practicing of Yoga among the students and staff members. This was in line with the Yoga Day celebrations that took place in various parts of the world. Prime Minister Narendra Modi deliberately took part in the Yoga Day celebrations at Rashtrapati Bhawan, Delhi. The credit for declaring 21st June as the World Yoga Day is largely credited to Mr. Modi who proposed having an International Yoga Day in his address to United Nations General Assembly. 21st June was chosen because it is the longest day of the year in Northern Hemisphere.
Responsible Spokesperson from LNCT Group said, “It is wonderful that we have an International Yoga Day. Yoga is deeply rooted in Indian Heritage. Saints and hermits used to perform Yoga to attain mental peace and improved concentration. Yoga has wonderful effect on human body, mind and soul. It can cure many diseases with relative ease. Since centuries Indians have been practicing Yoga and now the entire world is doing it. It is a matter of pride for us.”
In Delhi, India itself so many people adopted Yoga with their own will. Such things can’t be implemented by force. It is a kind of self attached way that attracts for his accountability of a good health. Delhi will be remembered for its being evidence of crowd and PM Narendra Modi presence at ground doing Yoga with full concentration. It was seemed that whole India was at Delhi road.
One of the LNCT students present at the event said,” Yoga is a mental, physical and spiritual discipline. It has beneficial effects on the body. We are happy to incorporate it in our daily routine. I have been practicing Yoga since years and it has had wonderful impact. I can concentrate better and have a fit body. Thanks to our Prime Minister, the entire world has acknowledged the benefits of Yoga.”
