Click a Smile and take part in Akshaya Patra annual photography competition 2015
The Akshaya Patra Foundation is providing a chance to all the budding photographers to outshine amongst all if they Click a Smile and participate in its Annual Photography Competition, 2015.
The competition was a success last year, with more than 1,400 entries, from 50 Nations. The new competition is all huge and better than the last, as Suresh V.B and Kanick Samuel will be judging the event along with Vicky Roy.
Suresh V.B is a graduate from CKP and worked in O&M for almost a decade; Kanick Samuel is Senior Creative Director at JWT Bangalore; on the other hand, US-based Maybach Foundation selected Vicky Roy, to capture the moments of World Trade Centre’s reconstruction and photo document the same in 2008.
The competition is open for all professional and amateur photographers who can send maximum 3 photographs of a smiling child or children to Akshaya Patra, before December 22, 2015. Caption and description of the photograph/s are mandatory to fill. There will be only 3 winners who will get the trophy and vouchers, and top 50 photographs will be a part of Akshaya Patra’s annual photography exhibition, 2015, with all credits to the photographer.
Anybody can participate in the competition without any bar of age and Nationality. The entries in digital format, up to 4 MB in size and resolution of more than 800 pixels, will get accepted for the contest. Log on to http://www.akshayapatra.org/submit to enter the competition.
The Akshaya Patra is a Bangalore based non-profit organisation, which fights with social issues of malnutrition and hunger by catering the food related needs among school children as the NGO delivers mid-day meal to the Government schools along with Government aided schools across the whole Nation.
