Amrapali Group spending Rs 2,000 crore to build affordable flats for government employees
Delhi-based realty firm Amrapali Group will be developing 10,000 affordable apartments in Noida Extension for government employees at the development cost of Rs 2,000 crore. In the first phase of this project, Amrapali will launch 2,000 apartments and that’s too at an affordable price range between Rs 20 lakh and Rs 30 lakh.
Anil Sharma, CMD- Amrapali Group, told the media that Amrapali is coming up with an affordable residential project not only for current government employees, but also for the retired government employees. The residential project is spread over 40 acre of land, and development cost will amount up to Rs 2,000 crore.
These apartments will be available at Rs 2,280 per square feet, which is less than the current property rate in Noida region. Each of these flats will be covering the carpet area from 975 sq ft to 1,300 sq ft. This initiative is supposedly being called ‘Amrapali Adarsh Awas Yojna’.
The officials of Amrapali Group told the concerned media person that they will be using pre-cast technology and will utilise the aluminium and its related work in this project.
