People will be compensated for delay of the projects: Anil Sharma, CMD, Amrapali Developers

With MS Dhoni trolls and memes taking a toll over the internet, Amrapali Group went through so many interrogations that the Chief Managing Director of the NCR-based land developer, Anil Sharma had to come forward and give an insight on the matter.
In a recent interview with ABP news, the CMD talked about not only the matter related to MS Dhoni but talked about people’s problems and numerous doubts, accusations levied on the builder.

Sharma said, “Amrapali have an emotional relationship with Mahendra Singh Dhoni rather than a Business relation and we are still in utter shock that situation took such a gigantic form that our brand ambassador had to talk on our behalf. It’s quite embarrassing on our part that we could do nothing when he was dragged into all of it.”
Sharma mentioned that satisfaction level of real estate agency is quite difficult but Amrapali’s satisfaction has always been catering the housing needs of middle-class common man at an affordable cost. He further added, “Sometimes it happens that we provide such facilities which we didn’t even promise and sometimes, we take a little more time in delivering what we promised but it doesn’t mean that we don’t fulfil our promise at all. We do that as well, it’s just a matter of time, where people also have to maintain their patience level.”
On asking about the delay of residential projects due to land acquisition matter and NGT’s intervention, Sharma Replied, “Once land acquisition crisis and NGT case were resolved last year, where the latter came in the limelight because of Okhla Bird Sanctuary, we helped 16,000 residents to shift after that. We utilised our best technologies, worked days in-days out so that the ultimate buyer gets the possession in no time.”
Bringing the developer’s suppressed pain to people’s kind attention, Anil Sharma said, “We haven’t received maintenance charges from Sapphire residents from last 2 years and because of that Amrapali is paying Rs 50 lakhs per month in the form of electricity, security and water bill from its accounts.”
Anil Sharma also mentioned that the developers would provide each person, the total worth of their investment without levying any penalty on them. Apart from the delay due to legal intervention, Amrapali will give requisite compensation to the buyer if it fails to cater their timely needs from now onwards.
On asking about new Stamp Duty collection, Sharma clarified that the builder has not received any kind of legal order for stamp duty’s payment but whenever it’ll come, it will think about it in whatever way possible.
