Here’s the list of Indian CXO’s that are dominating their industries

The Chief Experience Officer (CXO) of a company is its backbone in the market. From businesspersons to user, CXO is responsible for how his/her organization’s experience, development, and management proceeds. Though there are plethora of examples for quality CXOs, here are the top 5 Indians that have aced the position for their respective companies:

Naveen Kumar

In 2006, Naveen Kumar incorporated Nityo Infotech, an IT Services Company in USA. Under his leadership, the company expanded its service sectors from management to technology, consultancy, support, and training. Currently, Nityo Infotech has 27 offices around the world to manage their clientele present in 20 countries. This includes fortune 1000 and fortune 2000 countries.

Ajit Joshi

Topping the list is Ajit Joshi, the man behind the successful beginning and future of Croma, a multi-branded electronics store. Joshi was the CXO for Infiniti Retail Ltd., a subsidiary of Tata Group. He joined the Croma Project three months before the first store’s opening and has helmed its planning and growth (Megastores and Zip stores) ever since. Currently, there are 72 operational Croma stores which offer more than 2,000 electronic products across various categories.

Manish Sharma

In 2017, Manish Sharma became the then only Indian, and the youngest, to join the global leadership of Panasonic India. India had a crucial role in forming the market presence of Panasonic and the strategic move was imminent. Sharma’s experience with Ito has contributed a major share to the future global expansion as well as international market plans of Panasonic. Along with this, he was responsible for the company’s metamorphosis to a technology solution organization.

Thomas Varghese

With the industry knowledge and guidance of Varghese, Aditya Birla Retail Ltd forayed into the grocery retail sector. In 2007, the subsidiary of Aditya Birla Group acquired a supermarket chain of South India and introduced its own brand named ‘More’. This venture was further diversified in two types: Hypermarket and Supermarket. The planning and execution of this project was largely possible because of the marketing, strategy and manufacturing experience of Thomas Varghese.

Govind Shrikhande

Known in the consumer goods industry for his work with Shoppers stop, Govind Shrikhande joined the retail initiative when it had only 6 stores. He was critical in analyzing the aspects of improvement like infrastructure, product range, associated brands, taxation issues, etc. Shrikhande, and his team, were instrumental in scaling the frequency of stores to 83 and correspondingly, boosting the revenue from Rs 200 crore to approximately Rs 3,000 crore.
A fact can be established from the journey of aforementioned personalities that CXO plays a pivotal role in defining the road map of future plans, handling run-time issues, and executing the project as envisioned. Their contributions to their respective organizations as well as domain speaks volumes about their skill and hard work.
