Ziqitza Healthcare’s blood donation camps collect 560 units of blood across 30 districts in Odisha

Ziqitza Healthcare Ltd, a leading emergency healthcare provider, organized a blood donation camp on March 6th, 2019, across 30 districts of Odisha to commemorate the completion of 6 years of 108 and 102 ambulances services in the state. It was in 2013 that the company collaborated with the government of Odisha to provide quick medical aid to the people in need, under the vision of former CEO Shweta Mangal.

Archita Sahu, a renowned Ollywood actress also took part in the event of Ziqitza Healthcare Ltd to boost the morale of the participants.

“I’m happy to be associated with Ziqitza healthcare for blood donation camps across Odisha. Blood donation is superior

to all other donations and I request everyone to participate to help in saving
lives,” said Archita Sahu on the occasion of the event.

Ziqitza Healthcare’s blood donation camps were setup at various district and sub-district hospitals from 10 am to 2 pm. The event was a success, as 560 units of blood were collected across 30
districts.

Blood donation is considered to be the simple and safest way to save lives. A donation can potentially save up to 3
lives. It takes around 15 minutes, and does not affect the medical condition of a healthy person.

Sabyasachi Biswal, the Project Head of Ziqitza Healthcare Ltd reiterated the reason of setting up blood donation camps in the region.

“Under 108 and 102 model, Ziqitza Healthcare has provided medical assistance to more than 40 lakh people in the last 6 years in Odisha.
In order to commemorate for that, we have set up blood donation camps across 30 districts. It feels good, it makes me proud to join the revolution. Everyone should try to donate blood and make a difference,” he said.

Ziqitza Healthcare Ltd, co-founded by Shweta Mangal has bridged the gap between emergency healthcare assistance and the patients in need of the same. Operating more than 3,500 ambulance in 17 states, it has already helped more than 10 million people in the country, providing appropriate and quick medical care to save the lives.
