Hosted by India’s Leading Group of Schools – Ryan International Group, the Mumbai edition of World Scholars’ Cup 2019 will be held in Mumbai on 30th and 31st July 2019. Aimed at developing a global community of future scholars and leaders, the premier international academic event attracts students from all over the world each year.
Unlike the traditional academic competitions and conferences, World Scholar’s Cup is an academic decathlon challenging young minds. Celebrating the joy of learning, the event offers an enrichment opportunity that motivates students not just to demonstrate their existing strengths but to discover new ones.
The 2-day event will witness participation from over 1,000 students between the ages of 11 to 18 years from across the country. In this regional round at Mumbai, students will undertake different academic, and social challenges and demonstrate their skills to connect History, Science, Art, Literature, Social Studies, and Current Affairs, etc. The theme for World Scholar’s Cup 2019 is: ‘A World on the Margins’.
The students will be tested on the following subject areas:

Speaking of hosting the Mumbai Round, Ryan Pinto said, “Our students have performed outstandingly at Dubai, Singapore, and Bangkok earlier. We are sure that the students, who have come from all across the country, will go back enriched from this global opportunity.”
In words of the Ryan International Group MD, everyone is a scholar within themselves. According to her, this platform will allow the students to learn more skills and hone their talents. “This (World Scholars’ Cup) will provide the children with ample opportunities to develop skills like public speaking, time management, teamwork, research, and collaboration, in a cross-cultural environment that would make the experience unforgettable for a lifetime,” said Madam Grace Pinto.
According to Ryan International founder and chairman Dr AF Pinto, the India Round of the World Scholar’s Cup will not only challenge the students’ debating, writing and communication skills but will also provide them an opportunity to meet new friends, interact with young scholars of their age and expand your knowledge and be a part of a global community of future scholars and leaders.
World Scholars’ Cup is in tandem with Ryan International School’s vision and mission of inculcating leadership qualities among students at a very young age.
