CEO of Jaro Education honoured with “Education Evangelist of India 2019” award

Dr. Sanjay Salunkhe, the CEO of Jaro Education, has been awarded with the ‘Education Evangelist of India 2019’ by a global educational research and technology firm, Great Place to Study. GPTS focuses on empowering agents of change in the education system by helping them recognize and capitalize on opportunities.

A talk show was released on forbesindia.com by Great Place to Study through a web series Education Evangelist of India (EEI) 2019 featuring Mr. Sanjay Salunkhe along with other dedicated education leaders in India. The talk show was hosted by the renowned Indian author and columnist Chetan Bhagat. Each webisode covered the entire journey of the respective leaders.

Apart from the CEO of Jaro Education, the series also featured other notable edupreneurs who have been contributing to the Indian education sector and inspiring the young generation. Dr. Ramdas M Pai from Manipal University; Professor Ragurama Gunaje from BITS, Pilani; Sobha Rani Nandury, Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India are among the evangelists who took part in the web series.

Dr. Sanjay Salunkhe is among the few pioneers in the education industry, changing the scope of higher education. He has also been honoured with ‘India’s Most Trusted CEOs 2017-18 award’ by the World Consulting & Research Corporation. He is a first-generation entrepreneur who strives to level up the Indian education system to international standards. Under his leadership, Jaro Education has been steered towards immense growth with thousands of students enrolling in every year.

Dr. Salunkhe has been previously awarded the ‘Best Management Award‘ and ‘Award for Excellence in Developing Young Managers and Entrepreneurs‘ by the Bombay Management Association for his contribution to the education industry.
