On Thursday, the global leader in Costumer-Relationship-Management (CRM) –Salesforce announced that it is committed to train 250,000 students for the technology jobs of tomorrow by 2022.
In that direction, Salesforce has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) with the Telangana Academy for the Skill and Knowledge (TASK) and ICT Academy Kerala and ICT Academy. Through these partnerships, Salesforce will bring its free online learning platform (Trailhead) into the classrooms.
The recent study by the IDC claims that the Salesforce economy will create revenue worth $67 billion and around 550,000 direct jobs in India by 2024. Trailhead, regardless of any socio-economic background, gender or ethnicity, will help the students to build the skills they need to acquire jobs in the technology sector.
