Twelve years of success in Canada: HCL launches new delivery centre in Ontario

Leading multinational technology company, HCL Technologies Ltd, has announced the opening of its innovation centre in Mississauga, Ontario. The centre will focus on digital acceleration, from where HCL’s advanced tech solutions will be delivered to its global client base. With this, the company aims to help them accelerate their digital transformation journeys.

The solutions that HCL Technologies will be providing from its newest centre, pertain to digital and analytics, cloud consulting and migration, cyber security and IT infrastructure.

“From our newest centre, clients can experience a whole new world of technological innovation enabled by leading edge immersive technologies, HCL’s best in class Intellectual property solutions and a unique design thinking approach to some of the most complex problems of Canadian enterprises,” said Joelien Jose, EVP & Country Head – Canada.

With a seating capacity of around 350, HCL’s Mississauga centre will be one of the largest centres in Canada. It houses co-innovation labs to foster ideation and collaboration among customers for the development of futuristic solutions to transform their business journeys. The global technology company aims to generate over 2000 new employment opportunities in Canada in the next three years.

Located at 7125 Mississauga Rd, Mississauga, Ontario, HCL’s global delivery centre will be abiding by the provincial and federal rules related to Covid-19 to ensure the safety and wellbeing of its employees. With the establishment of GDC, HCL will have marked 12 years of its successful growth in Canada. The first office was launched in Toronto in 2009 whereas the first GDC was launched in New Brunswick in 2019. The company plans to expand its offices in British Columbia and Alberta. So far, it employs around 1,100 people in Canada.
