Waahjobs – Bringing trusted and verified job opportunities to your doorstep

Ever since the pandemic broke out, an increasing number of young jobseekers have been falling victim to job scams. Even today, the figures stand at thousands. However, tackling this prevailing challenge in the job market are the new-age job portals that have been putting their best foot forward in bringing trusted and verified jobs to the jobseekers.

An endeavour by Waahjobs, an online recruitment marketplace, is quite commendable in this regard. With the help of a filter feature, candidates can gain access to the jobs that are marked as ‘trusted’. While a number of recruitment companies ask for money from the jobseekers, Waahjobs brings plethoric job opportunities for free with just three simple steps – Register, Search and Book an interview. Furthermore, as soon as it posts a new job, it notifies the job aspirants who have registered, by using an algorithm.

Despite the app’s comprehensiveness, it is not uncommon for job applicants to face confusions and that is where the role of the ‘Help’ feature comes in! By clicking on the speech bubble on the screen, applicants can chat online with any of Waahjobs‘ personnel and get their queries resolved.

At a time when social distancing has been a norm and the possibility of another lockdown has become a concern for many, platforms like Waahjobs have come off as a boon on all fronts. Moreover, while many sectors have been affected by the pandemic, there are others that are still brimming with opportunities. For instance, a study by Indeed recently revealed that the postings for skilled technical job roles grew between 150 to 300 per cent in the last one year. Thus, it is the established and new-age recruitment platforms that are enabling jobseekers to tap into the right market during these uncertain times.
