HealthifyMe launches vaccine slot booking on its app and website

After acqui-hiring the team of Under 45, which has been helping people find slots of Covid-19 vaccination, health-tech start-up, HealthifyMe has now opened vaccine slot booking on its app and website, HealthifyMe.com. It has registered itself as an Application Service Provider (ASP) with CoWin.

The start-up had earlier launched another website called Vaccinateme.in in 10 different languages. The platform  helped over 8 million people in searching vaccination slots and receiving updates and notifications about the same.

The recent endeavour by HealthifyMe was undertaken to boost its vaccination slot booking initiative. Under 45, whose team it has hired, has a powering vaccination slot alerts on Telegram, the popular instant messaging app.

A Bengaluru-based digital health and wellness platform, HealthifyMe was founded by Tushar Vashisht, Mathew Cherian and Sachin Shenoy. Under 45, on the other hand, was developed by Berty Thomas, a Chennai-based techie, who has now joined HealthifyMe as an Associate Director.

He will work with Manan Chandan, Sr Director at the digital wellness start-up and the Project Lead of VaccinateMe. Furthermore, he will also work closely with Suchdeep Juneja, the developer of mhVaccineTracker and Chandraaditya Putuveru who launched BloreVaccine. The team will collaboratively work to fast-track vaccination slot bookings for millions of Indians.

So far, VaccinateMe.in, under45.in, BloreVaccine and mhVaccineTracker have helped more than 12 million people in finding slots for vaccination. They have also sent over 100 million notifications and alerts via SMS, Telegram and Whatsapp. In fact, 35 per cent of the people who received the alerts are said to have found a vaccine as per the surveys that the companies run.

We are now taking it to the next logical level by jointly launching a solution that will help millions of Indians book their slots directly on the HealthifyMe app and website,” said Tushar Vashist, co-founder and CEO of HealthifyMe.
