A Singapore-based wellbeing technology company, ‘Joye’ has partnered with Microsoft to bring an engaging mental fitness capability to the users of Microsoft Teams globally. According to research, the mental wellbeing has a significant impact on productivity (up to 35 per cent). Joye’s aim is to weave mental wellbeing into daily work-life to help the users develop and sustain a mental fitness habit.

Through this innovation, millions of employees in the post-pandemic hybrid workplace will be prevented from burnouts. Joye has been inspired by 10,000 steps fitness challenge that revolutionized physical fitness a decade ago.

The users of Microsoft Teams can easily access Joye with a single click from the Team’s app store. “Joye analyzes your work pattern in Microsoft Teams, keeping your privacy in check and delivers timely suggestions to measure and manage your mental wellbeing whenever you need it the most. Joye lets the employee feel empowered in the hybrid workplace,” said Sanjeev Magotra, founder and CEO of Joye.

Through Joye’s Daily Brew, users can measure and manage their daily wellbeing, through a virtual confidante or mentor. It lets you write, speak or follow the guided reflection in a safe and anonymized space. Joye’s AI recognizes unique situation of users and then assists them with joy-level mood analytics, behavioral coaching and short podcasts. Additionally, Joye’s Stress Buster feature offers a two minute breathing session to the users to streamline their mind in the critical times when they are facing stress.
