Fintech company – BharatPe has recently hired three executives across business, finance and operations to strengthen its leadership team.
Ex-Reckitt executive Subhasis Beura, ex-ICICI executive Nishit Sharma and ex-Paytm executive Nishant Saluja were appointed as chief business officers – Brands and Commerce, Growth and vice president of lending and consumer operations.

He added that “In the past few months, we have on-boarded over 1.8 million merchants, and we are aiming to enable over 12 million merchants over the next two years. Their experience and a deep understanding of the industry will be instrumental in leading this growth.”
Sunil Beura has experience of over 14 years in global and national FMCG, financial and automotive brands while Nishant Saluja has experience of 18 years in the building and growing brands.
BharatPe is a New Delhi based a year-old start-up which is helping merchants to accept digital payments for the first time and giving them access to working capital.
In August, Bharatpe successful raised $50M to scale its business in the nation. The Series B round was led by San Francisco based Ribbit Capital and London based Steadview Capital.
