On an eventful day, Hyundai launched the all new Verna 2017 on Tuesday at an initial price of just Rs. 7.99 lakh for petrol and for diesel, the price is a little higher at Rs. 9.19 lakh. The company added that these are the introductory prices for the first lucky 20,000 buyers.
Highlighting innovative design features that include cascading front grille, projector, cornering head lights, projector fog lamps, and LED tail lamps, Hyundai launched 2017 Verna. The add on features include the length, wheelbase, trunk space and the 16 inch diamond cut alloys that furnishes its look.
The inside of the car comes adorned with ventilated front seats that are first in the segment along with a seven inch infotainment system with IPS display on its top end with MirrorLink, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It further offers electric sunroof and rear AC vent.
1.6 dual VTVT petrol and the 1.6 VGT diesel engines power the all new Verna launched by Hyundai. Power output delivered by petrol ranges from 123 Ps and 15.4 KGM of torque, on the contrary the figures for petrol ranges between 128 Ps and 26.5 KGM. Hyundai remarked that the fuel efficiency has also risen upto 15.92 kmpl for petrol and petrol manual to 17.70 kmpl, for diesel it is 24.75 kmpl. The company added that NVH level are the best of the existing lot.
The car seeks its basic structure form what Hyundai sought from dubbed K2 platform and has an even stronger body. YK Koo, MD and CEO of Hyundai remarked on its launch that the all new Verna 2017 combines effort and performance in luring package to call out to the Indian market place. It has been assumed that Verna 2017 launched by Hyundai is expected to be a huge hit in the Indian market in times to come.
